Steal this viral AI ad format (full breakdown)

There's an ad format blowing up on TikTok, Facebook, and X right now.

You've probably seen it, those Pixar-style animated characters explaining the benefits of ingredients, products, or concepts. A cute little green tea leaf telling you why L-Theanine helps you focus. A sad-looking liver begging you to stop drinking.

They're everywhere organically. Like this.

But almost no one is running them as ads yet.

Which means there's a window.

Why it works:

  • Pattern interrupt - animation looks nothing like typical UGC or product shots
  • "Edutainment" - feels like you're learning, not being sold to
  • Trust by proxy - a cartoon character feels neutral, not pushy
  • Low production barrier - you don't need influencers, actors, or a shoot

How to make one yourself:

  1. Feed a reference image into Claude or Gemini Show it an example of the format. Tell it your brand, product, and the ingredient/benefit you want to feature. Ask it to write you an image generation prompt.
  2. Generate your character I use Nano Banana for this - it's just really good. Generate a few versions. Pick the one with the best expression.
  3. Write your script Short. First-person. The ingredient introduces itself, explains its benefit, ends with a confident line. Keep it under 10 seconds.
  4. Animate it Feed your character image + script + motion prompt into Veo 3 or Kling. (I do this using Higgsfield and the Kling 2.6 model).
  5. Edit it together Stitch multiple clips together. Use the same character in different scenarios. Add captions. Get it edited or do it yourself in CapCut.

Here's what I managed to generate in under 10 minutes.

If you need more info on the prompt, I just combine the image description and the VoiceOver script and ask Kling to do its thing, for example (Claude made this for me btw).

A 3D Pixar-style animated green tea leaf character with a calm, wise face and big expressive eyes stands in a modern minimalist office. The character speaks directly to camera with confident, relaxed energy.

Animation sequence:

- Opens with character standing still, then raises one eyebrow knowingly

- Gestures gently with small hands while speaking, as if explaining something important

- Slight head tilts to emphasise key points

- Ends with a subtle confident smirk and small shrug, breaking the fourth wall

Camera: Static front-facing shot, slight slow push-in throughout. Shallow depth of field, soft natural lighting.

Mood: Calm, confident, slightly playful. The character is wise but not arrogant — like a friendly expert.

Style: Disney Pixar 3D animation, hyper-realistic render, smooth motion, cinematic lighting.

script:

I’m L-Theanine. Found in green tea. Used by monks for centuries. Now I’m in your coffee. My job is to keep you focused without the anxiety and alert without the crash.

That's literally it. Go make some!

One more thing - Claude Cowork, let's talk.

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, they all work the same way. You type a prompt, get text back, copy and paste it somewhere, then manually do the actual work. The AI talks. You execute.

Claude Cowork flips that.

What is it?

Cowork is a desktop app where Claude can actually control your computer. It browses the web, reads files, creates documents, manages folders, and executes multi-step workflows all from a single instruction. You describe what you want in plain English. It doesn't just answer. It does it.

Think of regular Claude as a consultant who gives you advice. Cowork is an operator who does the task.

Why this matters for creative strategy:

I asked Cowork why I should use it over regular Claude for building creative briefs. It basically said "let me show you." I gave it a link to a client's website. That's it.

In this case, it's for Opopop - a popcorn brand.

Here's what it did:

  • Researched Opopop's actual product line - Flavor Wrappedâ„¢ technology, 10 flavors, the silicone popper, price points
  • Pulled real customer reviews - what people love and their objections
  • Analysed competitor creative strategies - Poppi, Olipop, Liquid Death
  • Cross-referenced current ad trends - UGC performance, hook decay rates
  • Created a complete 10-page brief with 5 full creative concepts, 10 hook variations, creator casting requirements, shot lists, and a testing strategy

I gave it a URL. It gave me a ready to execute brief.

In fact, here's the actual brief it made for me, absolutely insane.

The difference:

Regular AI = you ask, it answers, you do the work. Cowork = you ask, it does the work.

If you run an agency, brand, or anything ops-heavy, this is the shift. Start experimenting now.

That's it. Go make a weird little cartoon and run it as an ad before everyone else catches on.
